Socrait is designed to work in a classroom environment, collecting data about students and what happens in class. It will not work well in meetings because we haven't (yet) designed a version of Socrait for that use case.
However, administrators often have shifts monitoring lunch rooms, recess, or hallways. You can give Socrait a test run in those environments.
Set up your Socrait account to have classes periods like LUN, REC, or HAL. Then list your "frequent flyers" as the roster. You can quickly update a roster directly from your phone, so the first time you warn or praise someone new, make sure to add them to your roster so that the next interaction is collected.
You can also make use of the reminders feature during these busy times. For example, you might say things like:
- I need to remember to add Mrs. Brown to that IEP meeting tomorrow.
- I need to remember to add Joshua to my Lunch roster.
- Don't let me forget to check the security footage in the hallway at 2:30pm.
These types of reminders should show up in your Classroom Dashboard.
To see your Socrait data, remember to go to socrait.app on your computer.
